Booking and Cancellation

What is included in the tour price?

As each of our expeditions differs in destination, program and complexity, the price and scope of the service also varies. Therefore, in the description of each expedition you will find a detailed range of elements included in the price, as well as those that are not included. We also understand that customers’ requirements and wishes may vary, so any items that are not clearly marked in the tour description as included in the price should be treated as payable extra. Of course, if you have any questions, it is best to contact our team. 

Is the price on the website the final price?

The price listed on our website is the final price for the scope listed in the tour description. That is, all elements that are included in the scope are already included in the price. However, please note that some elements are not included in the price and you have to cover the costs on your own. For example, we do not include the price of airline tickets, as our clients can join the expedition in different places and fly from different destinations. Of course, with any questions you are welcome to contact our team.

Is a down payment required?

Yes, we require prepayment, as this is considered acceptance of the agreement and reservation of your place on the expedition. Prepayment is also necessary so that we can book all the elements of the expedition for you with our partners. Prepayment is usually 30% of the value of the tour, unless otherwise stated in the description.

When do I need to make payment for the tour?

All payment rules are stated in the description of each tour and, in addition, each participant will receive detailed information on the route, itinerary and payment forms and deadlines.

Can the price change after the agreement is signed?

No, the price of the tour from the moment you sign the contract is frozen for you and will not change. The price will remain the same for you, even if we have to raise the price for new customers at a later date due to external factors. Therefore, we encourage you to book as early as possible.

In what situations can a tour be canceled?

We organize our trips well in advance so that you can plan everything for yourself and so that we can close the list of participants as soon as possible. This also allows us to secure places in hotels and with our partners. However, there are situations that we cannot foresee. Internal regulations of countries, changes in tourist traffic or security restrictions can be such a difficulty that we will not be able to carry out the expedition as planned. In such a situation, we always try to adjust the plan and complete the trip in spite of everything. However, if this is not possible despite our efforts, we will be forced to cancel the trip or reschedule it for another date. In this case, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid.

How do I change or cancel a reservation?

Please note that our expeditions are tailor-made for our travelers and their abilities. So please make your reservations carefully, as changes or cancellations may incur additional costs. Who is the tour operator?

The owner of the GoExploreWith.me brand and main tour operator is TOTIUSO GLOBAL CR SRL, registered in Costa Rica under number personeria juridica 3-102-790332.

Does the tour include the cost of insurance?

Yes, the expedition cost includes general travel insurance and DAN insurance for all diving activities. The detailed coverage and its amount will be provided to each traveler upon signing up for the expedition. 

What is the standard of accommodation?

We always try to provide the highest possible standard of accommodation, but of course it depends on the type of expedition and the destination. Certainly, during our expeditions you will have the opportunity to sleep in both 5-star hotels and in a tent in the jungle. A detailed accommodation plan is given to each traveler after signing up for an expedition.

Will I receive a detailed itinerary and address of where I am staying?

Yes, each expedition participant will get a detailed plan and schedule.

Can we modify the program during the trip?

Our expeditions are original and unique by design. We want to show you interesting places and hidden gems, even in seemingly touristy places. However, going off the trail involves a greater risk that something just might go wrong. In the end, we are playing with nature and weather, over which we have no control. Therefore, it is possible that during the expedition we will have to modify the schedule, rearrange the order of attractions, switch attractions or even cancel them completely. But all this is always done with our mutual safety and comfort in mind.

What documents are required to participate in the tour?

Each trip may differ in the required documents you must have. However, a valid passport with an expiration date that does not expire within the next six months is always the basis. This is very important. In addition, in diving expeditions we require a diving license, which covers the scope and complexity of the planned activities. Depending on the destination, additional documents such as proof of inoculations, travel insurance, a return ticket to your country of residence or even an entry visa may be required. However, you don’t have to worry as you will get all the guidelines from us after you sign up for the trip. 

How can I make a complaint?
