Booking and Cancellation

What is included in the tour price?

As each of our tours differs in destination, program and complexity, the price and scope of the service also varies. Therefore, in the description of each tour you will find a detailed range of elements included in the price, as well as those that are not included. We also understand that customers’ requirements and wishes may vary, so any items that are not clearly marked in the tour description as included in the price should be treated as payable extra. Of course, if you have any questions, it is best to contact our team. 

Is the price on the website the final price?

The price listed on our website is the final price for the scope listed in the tour description. That is, all elements that are included in the scope are already included in the price. However, please note that some elements are not included in the price and you have to cover the costs on your own. For example, we do not include the cost of getting to the starting point of the tour. Of course, with any questions you are welcome to contact our team.

Is a down payment required?

Yes, we require prepayment, as this is considered acceptance of the agreement and reservation of your place on the tour. Prepayment is also necessary so that we can book all the elements of the tour for you with our partners. Prepayment is usually 50% of the value of the tour, unless otherwise stated in the description.

When do I have to make a payment?

At the time of confirmed reservation we will ask you to pay a 50% deposit. You will pay the rest on the day of the tour.

Is the price subject to change?

No, the price of the tour from the time of booking is fixed and will not change. The price will remain the same, even if we have to raise the price for new customers at a later date due to external factors. Therefore, we encourage you to book as early as possible.

In what situations can a tour be canceled?

We organize our trips in advance so that you can plan everything and so that we can close the list of participants as soon as possible. This also allows us to secure places in hotels and with our partners. However, there are situations that we are unable to foresee. Internal regulations and changes in tourism or security restrictions can be such an impediment that we are unable to carry out the tour as planned. However, if, despite our efforts, it is not possible to carry out the tour, we will be forced to cancel the trip or reschedule it for another date. In this case, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid.

How do I change or cancel my booking?

Please note that our tours are tailor-made for our travelers and their abilities. So please make your bookings carefully, as changes or cancellations may incur additional costs. Who is the tour operator?

The owner of the GoExploreWith.me brand and main tour operator is TOTIUSO GLOBAL CR SRL, registered in Costa Rica under number personeria juridica 3-102-790332.

Does the tour include the cost of insurance?

NO. Travel insurance is not included in the price of any of the tours. We recommend that you purchase your own travel and accident insurance.

What should I bring for my adventure tour?

The items needed will depend on the type of trip you choose, but a few essentials for most adventures are comfortable clothing and footwear, sun protection, insect repellent and a reusable water bottle. For specific trips, such as zip-lining, quad rides or scuba diving, we will provide you with any additional equipment you need. Will I receive a detailed itinerary?

Yes, after booking you will receive details of the tour itinerary and meeting place.

Can we modify the program during the trip?

Most tours have a fixed and predetermined plan. If you are interested in customizing a tour to your requirements, please contact us in advance to inquire about this possibility.

What documents are required?

In order to make a booking, we need the details of all participants. For some tours, such as the Corcovado National Park tour, we also require the passport number of each traveler.

How can I make a complaint?
